- Need some Elmering. Can anyone explain why the Harbach Suppressor kits use Ceramic Disc instead of Dipped silver micas for Rf choke replacements? Thanks in Advanced Chris ____________________________

- ** Disc ceramics have less less L than silver-micas. Also, the grid-gnd circuit is not part of the tuned input circuit, so the stability of a silver mica is not needed. ______________________________

- All, What is the recommended grid-gnd circuit?? The original sb-220 had an LC network; it seems to be a common recommendation to replace the coil with a 33 OHM resister. Are the caps changed as well?

- ** More grid-gnd bypass C is needed with a fusing resistor in order to protect it from RF on 10m - due to the 5pF anode-grid C. Thus, the original 3 x 200pF or so caps need to be padded with an addit
