Its a Motorola UHF amplifier. Uses 2ea 4CX250s. The SP number on it indicates a Special Product or Special Production item. Most SPs were for the government or military. It is part of a 250 watt UHF

It could be 1/4 or 1/2 wave depending on frequency and the tubes internal and circuits distributed C. Most 144 and 220 amps were 1/4. On 432 they went to 1/2 or even 3/4 depending upon the designers
