833s don't twist and both plate and grid lie on top. I'd say 810's but they have 4 pins on the base Maybe browse through and old handbook looking for a base diagram that looks right and then scan the

Hmmm - a 250TH would fit that - only two of the four pins are connected, and the grid and plate caps match the 250's - big plate and 'pin' grid connection. And two of them will do a kilowatt with 3KV

Yeah now that I look at the pictures, it's either a 250TH or a 450TH... those are the only tubes that will fit. The 304TL doesn't work because it has a dual filament (4 pin connections). Sincerely, D

I'm just kind of curious whether it may be a socket for a 3A200. These were pretty much used in the old FAA A-and-N transmitters. The unusual thing was they had a 3-pin base and 2 grid connections on
