It's a "Glitch / Fuse" resistor, it's in series with the B+ output, no metering circuitry surrounding it.   Mel   ko0m   . If my memory is correct the 0.8 ohm or whatever is part of the metering circ

Have to disagree, 0.82 ohm resistor in line with the B+ in Drake L7 PSU is definitely the factory fitted glitch resistor. I replaced mine some years ago with a larger high wattage alternative as reco
