Thanks to all those who steered me in the right direction to resonate the choke in my hv ps for hb 8877 hf amplifier. I used my HP 200CD signal generator and isolated it from the choke with a 30K res

Fern, Do check how the choke inductance varies with DC through it. You may find you need a slightly bigger cap. If you get stuck, I may still have some fairly big 0.1mFd 5kV caps. Shipping to the US

Hi Fern, You don't want the system to transit resonance when the current increases in the choke or bad things may occur... Setting the resonance slightly to the high side at low current is correct so
