George, I use TurboCad for all my drafting. I found it was the easiest to use of any CAD package. They used to have a freeware version which was version 4 and is 2D. You would need to look at Turboca

IMHO I find that ExpressSch is fine if you are working with pc boards and solid state devices, etc. but if you are including tubes and other "obsolete" devices in your schematics, it's not so useful.

Regarding ExpressSch and "obsolete" devices: roll your own! I made a pilot lamp and a meter movement in a couple of minutes. Friend made an 833A. So simple. The *big* thing about that routine is the
