- That's really short for use at top band. Take the tap to the highest point that doesn't rotate, bring the wire down out 4 or 5 feet from the tower, and use an omega match. 73, Guy http://join.msn.com

- Hi Lane, 50ft is really short for 160 (approx. 30 electrical degrees or .085 wavelength). The antennas on top will contribute some top loading but you probably still won't be able to get to 50 ohms w
