I recently saw the latest issue of CQ (I no longer subscribe due to their views on the CW requirement), and the rules for the CQWW contest were listed. It says that all amateur frequencies between 1.

At least in Finland, regulations determine that QSOs on 60 meters are not amateur radio traffic. I suppose same is in the UK eg. too. So with this logic you could make contest QSOs also on 11 meters

Hams in the USA could probably make some contest QSO's on 60 meters but only with other USA stations. I believe the regulations do not permit DX QSO's from the USA. 73, Zack W9SZ ____________________

Oh dear, I guess the usa stations I have worked earlier this year on 60m were not legal then? :-) My special licence permit refers to it being granted for experimenting in near inter uk near vertical
