There seems to be a perception that one of these is, in some way, more "pure" than the other. Why? What's the difference if you have a 400 hour from 0000z to 0059z, or a 400 hour from 0003z to 0102z

Hello Mike: As i understand it isnīt the same. You can work 400 from 0000z to 0059z but your rate can be higher in the first half hour after 0100z and you can have 420 from 0020z to 0120z and still h

I don't think there's any purity one way or the other - it just makes clear what you're reporting. Some logging programs report the clock hour rates only in their summaries. Qrate reports both. _____
