Thanks for the replies to my previous message, but I guess the title I chose did not convey the idea I wanted. I am looking for a means of syncronizing the computer's clock WITHOUT HAVING AN INTERNET

Got GPS? Before you can know where you are, your GPS receiver has to figure out what time it is, and does so very accurately. GPS is how the NCCC beacon stations stay synchronised. Bill Coleman, AA4L
