A check of the RAC database shows that VE7FKM is not an issued callsign. My feeling is that whoever did this spotting did so maliciously. Someone much better equipped than me can trace the source. 73

Glenn, I wouldn't be too sure of that. The amateurs (I refuse to call them "gentlemen") in question have a lot of enemies. Some of whom are also anti-contest. Just check the forums on QRZ.COM and you

Either that, or someone else was pirating his call. That's one thing wrong with the "courtesy" feature of packet, which I think was initially set up so if you wanted to give credit for the spot to so
