I was running a modest inverted vee at about 50 feet for 40 meters and an even more modest G5RV at about 50 feet for 80 meters. Your sigs sounded rather loud on those two bands. Sorry I duped you guy

Hello George and thanks for the Q's in the contest. I run QRP and don't use spotting, but I think the close proximity of the "O" and "0" keys may be the problem. Fat fingers could can really screw up

Hi, George. I didn't use the cluster this contest, but I'd bet $100 that the majority of J7zeroJ spots were typos caused by a bad keystroke rather than by bad copy. The "O" and the zero keys are clos

I believe the major problem is the bandmap on telnets and fonts that make the 0 and o look almost the same. I worked you guys a couple of times by accident thinking I hadn't worked you on that band y

I don't think it has anything to do with copying CW. It has to do with fat fingers and guys like me who learned hunt and peck typing. I sometimes hit the "O" instead of the "0" in normal operation.

I want to reinforce Dan's comments... Many of the bad J7zeroJ (and the 4zero1A )spots were likely due to bad typing. [BTW I was on a professional committee in the very early 1970's when attaching key
