Dear contesters: If I am not wrong, the usage of packet cluster is totally forbiden during the IARU HF Championship. I participated in the SOAB CW HP class. Single radio, just a tribander, a 4M40 and

I mean, how is it possible for a single op, single mode, to work only 9 mults less than the best of all the Multi Single stations (in terms of mults). -- It is possible because of the 10 minute rule

Hi Martin: I just finished operating a M/S for IARU. Yes, we used the packet cluster. BUT, I expect the top single operators to have more multipliers than we do. And, I don't think they are using the

With all this huge HQ activity, especially from Europe, multipliers hunting is not so important anymore. It's more like WPX Contest now - the more contacts you make, the higher is your multiplier tot

I worked quite a few of my 80m multipliers while CQing. It seemed that when their own rates dropped, they went S&Ping for the strongest, easiest-to-work, whether those were EU or NA or SA. I was even

Does the Ferrarri vs Ford have an advantage on a road course? Does the Jaguar vw Chev have a better advantage on a drag strip?Does the Dodge or Hummer have the advantage on in the Baja? To spell it o

Things happen: One good operator can be better than a committee of half good operators. Well equipped station can beat packet assistance by half equipped spotters. In a recent multi operation one par

Nonsense. In IARU contest mult per band is about 50-70 on average and totally about 300-400 mlts compare to (for example) CQWWDX contest where is average mult 100-150 per band and 600-900 totally. 7

LESS!?!?! the slackers!! A s/o should be able to work MORE multipliers than any m/s in iaru. With a real 10 min rule for m/s they are handicapped and can't be compared with s/o, especially so2r ops

I don't agree to that David. I think it is definitely strange when SOAB makes similar or higher mult count than M/S, even in IARU contest. Let's calculate. Average QSO count for EU top SO and M/S sta
