That does not sound logical to me, who searches a dx expedition log for the possibility they made a mistake and put his call in the log? And how many out of some thousand qsos are busted with a diffe

Or better yet scan the logs for calls close to yours and submit the card and hope the QSL manager feels that the dxpedition busted the call and send a card anyway. ___________________________________

A more likely scenario (to use my own call sign) would be if I did a log lookup for a DXpedition for WM5R, found the two or three QSOs I made, but also one on a band mode I didn't work the DXpedition

No one can search the DXpedition logs as they are right now to cheat. Unless they actually heard the other station (as in the W9SG example I gave) work them. Full QSO data is not displayed in any log

Interesting since of the logs I have on-line I show QSOs with N2IC in CQ160 1983, ARRL 10M 2005 and NAQP 2006. Since I rarely spend any time in domestic contests, that's not a bad number of "hits."

You can't imagine how many times I've been put in logs as UO1HE, VO1SE, V01HE, etc. I'll send a card to the station or manager and, if he puts 2 and 2 together, I get a card. If not, I have to wait u

If I make my contest log public it's not good. If I put the audio files of the very same contest on my webpage (the way K5ZD does) - it's OK. Obviously the content is the same, so the question is WHY
