I observed that the easiest/ least confusing QSY request was as Gator,Geo and Trey said ,something line "QSY 21055?" When just the question "can you qsy to 15m"was asked then it became complicated as

My experience with sending the complete frequency (21038) the first time is I generally get asked for alot of repeats. Some guys are only listening for the exchange and wont catch the full frequency

As I recall QSY? asks the question " Shall I change frequency ? " Perhaps what is more to the point is QSX ? Will you listen for ... on ... ? e.g. QSX W5ASP 28050 ? or perhaps simply QSX 28050 ? But
