A local friend has a Kenwood TS850 available which I might be trading for. What serial number range is best for this rig? I understand that you generally want one with the newer DDS chips in it. Also

There is an electrolytic capacitor om a pc board just behind the front panel which causes the display tor go away and is a common problem. A ham friend recently repaired his 850 with the bad cap and
