I got a barrage as well but my gmail spam filter has caught all of it. Since it's a public email address I expect to receive lots of spam and I have my email rules set up to manage it well. I'd rathe

I gave up on forwarders many years ago for this precise reason. The League's forwarder is horrible in that regard and for every wanted email I got easily 500 spams. I have my callsign as a domain now

ARRL.NET is excluisvely an email forwarding service. The spam filter on your destination email service should catch the spam. My arrl.net address forwards to a gmail account. Google captures the spam

Isnt the arrl simply a forward service? So wouldnt your isp filters still work on forwarded mail? Ive had an arrl.net address for years and dont notice any spam from them.... Sent from my iPad ______

Yes and no. The ARRL is a forwarder but any forwarded email passes through their spam filters. I've confirmed this because I've had members complain about emails being delayed/not delivered and have

Also I should clarify that your spam filters will work but actually with forwards they may break and allow more spam since the message end to end is not handled by your email provider (eg GMail) and
