In reading the rules for contests, it seems like the time from the start of the contest to your first q, and the time from your last q to the end of the contest, is never addressed, but that there is

I think I understand what you are saying but I am not sure that it is really that big a deal. should be a fairly short time - unless you are N6TR/KL7. And in a contest where there is off time - like

here's my specific example. ARRL RTTY Roundup says off times must be min 30 minutes, and you have to take the off time in two blocks at most. Assume you start 15 minutes late, and end 15 minutes earl
