I've been hearing something like this too, and so far don't have a clue. In my case, it seems to be several kHz wide, drifts around a bit, and comes and goes. I've mostly heard it between 1820 and 18

Pete: I have noticed the same signal. It sounds quite raspy and is broadbanded, 10-15 khz wide. This has appeared as well on the low end of 80 and 40. It usually last lasts for a few minutes and then
