Hi My first post to this reflector and if it is redundant, please forgive. Problem: I am running Two ICOM 756PRO3's in a SO2R configuration. I have ICE filters in line with both rigs. When operating

What are you using for antennas? How much separation? What kind of feedlines? It's not at all surprising that you're having trouble with harmonics. Filters don't reduce out of band signals to nothing

All good suggestions. For item 5, resonant stubs, there was a QST article written long ago. Search the QST index for "The BOA, a constrictor for unwanted radiation". I think you'll find what you nee

RE: Follow up on 2nd harmonic. Thanks to all the guys who replied. The antennas are in place so they cannot be moved. The 40 is a C39 XRN (Force 12 40-10 yagi) at 90 feet. It is approximately 100 fee

Before throwing money at the problem, be sure you have identified it. Filters on the feedline can only stop harmonics that are generated on the radio side of the filter. If you have a rectifying join

Dave and Ken, Good points presented, Dave, but I'd like to look at the problem form a slightly different perspective: dynamic range. Here are the direct numbers: 100 watts out of 746 Pro = +50 dBm Sp
