I seem to be able to hear -- albeit faintly -- the 'other' line when both lines are going. Is this a function of house wiring or the telephone(s) themselves? Thanks in advance, Eric W3DQ wd3q@erols.c

I had a similar problem, turned out to be the old wire that brought both lines down the wall. The wire had two twisted pairs in one jacket, but there wasn't enough twists in the pairs. I went to radi
