What about using a 2m/440 mobile antenna that doesn't require a ground plane, such as a commercially made end-fed half-wave? I know Diamond, at least, makes one. Howard N7SO _________________________

Talk about spin. the antennas they were describing as causing problems or being recognizable look exactly like satellite radio, cell phone, or ham antennas which are all very common here in the state
