Tnx all for the replies. I have owned the refrigerator over 14 years with no problem. So i believe that it has some problem and i have already called a technisian. Unfortunately i am waiting for him.

The way to break that down is to tell him that 1) You view the noise as simply a symptom of some failure in the refrigerator, and that hopefully it will give him a clue about how to find the problem

A few years back, I had S9 arcing noise on 80 and 40. I traced it to the thermostat on a neighbor's electrically heated dog dish, which was sparking as the heat went on and off. That sure sounds like
