- Hi Rick and the group, I am sure you will find the 250Hz filter just fine, and maybe even a little wide at times. OK, I know the filtering on a 756Pro is a little different, but I frequently set my f

- Rick, I agree with Phil regarding the 250 Hz filter. You will definitely need this selectivity on 20m when a full-fledged contest is running! In the past I would turn this narrow filter on occasional

- I guess it depends how steep the skirts are on your filters. I almost never use my 250 Hz filter on RTTY. My FT-1000D has a 500 also, and that's what I mostly use. Enough guys call off frequency nece

- For a while I was using AFSK with the TS-2000 and only 500Hz filter. Since I switched to FSK I can use the DSP filter down to 250Hz, what a différence... a must in my case. Now looking for a F

- Hi Rick, I use cascaded 250 Hz Inrad filters in my FT-1000MP essentially full time. I do use RIT at times but have no problem tuning in stations. 73, Tom, W1TO _______________________________________
