I was copying them at 2115Z nicely on 21.086. The operator was making very short call with the id only at the start of his call. I think he came back to me but never acknowledged my reply. I also saw

That's what I was thinking myself too but they stay on rtty very shortly and also never when band is open to SA. When the signal is improving, they stop, qrt or move to another mode. I have been hunt

Very interesting observation, Fred I just pulled the latest 200 spots worldwide from DXSCAPE Sorted them in excell by frequency. Exactly 5 of the 200 spots since 30/3/04 1811Z were for RTTY frequenci
