The ARRL's recent endorsement of WinLink 2000 for EMCOMM ARES use raises some interesting questions for RTTY and other HF digital modes. WinLink 2000 can use Pactor for HF links and supports Pactor I

Hi Phil ! Since you have not realized YET that those PACTOR-III stations are out there ... you should not have a problem !!!! I think Pactor-III has been availiable for about more than 2 years now !

Tom is quite correct. Personally, I think the ARRL did the right thing in endorsing WinLink and Pactor-II and -III for ARES. It is the most robust and error-free of the digital modes. The system work
