Hello Anybody in this group using an ICOM 756 for RTTY.Not a 756 PRO or PRO2 or PRO3...Onlt 756. I would be interested to know what filters are recommended for rtty for the 9MHZ and 455KHZ IF's. Also

Noel, I used to use the IC-756 for RTTY extensively. I did well, indeed. As I do all kinds of contesting, CW/SSB/RTTY, I have installed 2 x 250 Hz CW filters. The IC-756 allows to "fool" itself aroun

I run an original IC-756 and have the FL-100 500 Hz filter. I can tell you that on contest weekends it is not tight enough. I would go for the 350 Hz at a minimum and maybe even the 250 Hz for RTTY.
