It is even more difficult from here in New Zealand, the more callsigns the better, as the signals are weaker and the QRM didn,t help. I sent my callsign 3 times when answering a CQ just to make sure

I like the idea of modular messages. What I often do when I am in s&p is to send my callsign after my exchange if i beleive the other station have my callsign wrong. Otherwise, I dont't send it. Many

So the SO2R op deliberately slows every contact down by 1.5 seconds? Very odd, considering all the past debate about extra time taken to send a single space after a call :-) and that's 1.5 seconds of

SO2R on RTTY is being done by a lot now, but is it fair to have someone standing by, waiting after your CQ while you are working someone else on the other radio. I's seeing some now that will call CQ
