My TS-480sat gives me 2 mark frequencies options for radio generated FSK. 2125 and 1275. So which one should I use if I use 2 Tone as a decoder? I kinda like the sound of 2125 and I keep the monitor

It is helpful to listen to the audio, for several reasons. Pick the tone that you like and keep that low level. You want just enough volume to be able to tune by pitch, etc. 73 jeff wk6i -- Jeff Stai

It's worth remembering that the mark/space frequencies are not critical. It's only the shift that is important. The centre frequency of filters in some radios can only be switched to preset points, 1
