If I jump into the WAE contest late, I realize I'm constrained from sending QTC traffic by the number of QSOs I've made. But is there any legal limit to how many QTCs I'm able to receive from others?

QTC buckets very welcome! There's nothing in the rules about any limits. John GW4SKA If I jump into the WAE contest late, I realize I'm constrained from sending QTC traffic by the number of QSOs I've

Glad to hear it. I got my QTC all set up this morning. I cannot get ctrl-z to make the window pop up but I am sure it will work just fine. We shall see. 73 Thom KI8W "Living deep in the black hole of

Make sure the callsign you have in the entry window is from another continent other than yours. Then CTRL-Z will work for you. You can also make macros that reside in the Entry Window or Digital wind

Hi John K0YQ and the group, If you can cope with receiving QTC's, then you can receive as many as you want! There is no limit to the amount you can send or receive. Some folk prefer to send, some pre

Slight clarification. You don't "need" 10 QSOs before you can send. You can send or receive a QTC with between 1 to 10 QSOs. In the first hours of WAE, QTCs are usually 10 QSOs. Toward the end when r

I'm bit confused. The N1MM+ macro sends 10 QTCs per QSO. You are saying I can send more than that? I did not think so. Not sure how to do that. That is, send another 10 for example for total of 20? U

Hi Al and Hank, No, you can always send 1, 2, 3 or any number UP to 10 was what was implied there by Hank. It is possible, but not really the "done thing" to send less than 10, but you can also do it

I'm bit confused. If you only have say 3 QSOs to send, that is what N1MM will send. Happens a lot late in the contest when people are desperate for QTC points--they'll take whatever you might have. W

Good stuff and thanks all. But if you've only made (say) 6 QSOs, you can receive up to 60 QTCs but only send 6. So you're better off being a bucket! Not that it really matters but I originally just w

John, I don't think you have read the rules correctly when it concerns QTC's. The rules state " QTC's are transferred by means of QTC series. A QTC is a block of one (minimum) to ten (MAXIMUM) QTC's.
