- The guys who send "5NN" on RTTY crack me up. They obviously don't understand why 5NN is sent on CW (does anyone eversay "FIVE-ENN" on phone?) and don't understand why it is a BAD idea on RTTY. 73 - J

- Some contest programs recognize a callsign by looking for DE<space><string>. If you want it to be less work for the other guy, send "DE S1GN" when responding to a CQ. Send "S1GN S1GN" if you want him
