Depends where it is. At the beginning of a macro, it puts the info on a new line. At the end of a macro, it occasionally makes the info jump as you go to click. Gotta put something at the end of the

That's one of the reasons I prefer Writelog over other RTTY contesting programs. The printed text doesn't move after a line feed. Dave Hachadorian, K6LL Yuma, AZ _____________________________________

Must be awfully hard to read after a few hundred QSOs what with all those lines printed over top of each other. In olden days, the print head would surely have ripped through the paper after 5 or six

Writelog moves the cursor down one line when it receives a LF (or when it runs to end of line). New text prints on the next line, but nothing is scrolled. Whatever you want to click on stays put. It

True, and don't get me started about computer users in the 1980s not turning off the diddle. The print head on the Model 32 ASR would just keep on bouncing. 73, Cheryl, AA4YL _______________________

N1MM does strip excessive line feeds, but not the first one. For example, if the sender's macro is 599 GA-linefeed, the GA may jump up from under your mouse pointer. You may think you have clicked on

You have it correct, Larry. SPACE at the end of all your macros, not a linefeed. If the last word in your macro is a callsign, better add TWO spaces, because Writelog needs two extra characters befor

I use N1MM so I'm not familiar with Writelog. Does it need 2 spaces after every call sign to recognize the info as a call or is it just if the last content in the macro is the call sign? Eg: xxxxx TU

Writelog doesn't highlight a call until two additional CHARACTERS have been received. They don't have to be spaces. Example: K7WM(space)K7WM(space) In this case, only the first K7WM will highlight, a
