I am looking at a Kenwood TS-930Sat. Anyone have any comments, good or bad on this radio? I cant find anything bad about them, other than some issues with the early serial number units. Lee Ratcliff

The 930 has no computer interface, which becomes an issue if you want to use control software, such as logging programs. That's the primary reason that I replaced my 930 with a TS-850 15 years ago. I

I agree with Jack. This was a good radio, but time is time - everything and everybody are getting old and tired... Capacitots are drying out - the most common issue in all oldies... If you like kenwo

I agree with Andrei. I have owned both the '850 and '870 and they are both great RTTY radios. I would give the edge to the '870 due to its built-in digital filters, but either one will do a great job
