- Under Pascal RTE 216 is a General Protection Fault. Probably MMTTY and WF1B are occuping the same memory space. You might, might, try increasing files and buffers. Good luck. 73 Jay WS7I CU from Texa

- Apparently error 216 has to do with not finding the comport. I confirmed this by changing the port specified in rtty.ini for the TNC. I have a byterunner pci card adding 4 ports for a total of 6 in t

- I dont think this was the cure but just coincidental...I had the same problem using the 2 normal com1 amd 2 ports. I happened to upgrade the bios for another reason and now it works....go figure. Joh
