Maybe nothing to do with it John, but I had the exactly same problem when running the linear amp - which turned out to be rf getting on to the FT1000D CAT cable. A clip on ferrite on the cable fixed

It's whatever works :-) Select the lowest value for LINKTIME that maintains rig control, then do the same for POLLTIME. If in doubt, opt for higher values (longer times). 73, Paul EI5DI _____________
