I run WinKey in SD. Using the macros in the F keys works fine, but when I want to 'chat' by using the keyboard, after hitting Ctl/k, as soon as I hit another key, the transceiver (Icom IC-756PRO2) go

What Tom describes does indeed happen. However, SD's recommended options for entering keyboard mode are Ctrl (on its own) or Alt-K (for compatibility with old DOS loggers). Ctrl, on its own, works on
