- Bullet proof Balun for an 80m dipole. First off why even bother with one? The answer is ... wind a coaxial choke. The diameter of a 1 liter soft drink and 6 to 8 turns of coax should do it. Dan/W4NTI

- I always use open wire feeder on my wire antennas. You don't have to worry about something like a balan failing or a bad joint on a PL-259. Plus it has ZERO dB's of loss..... Jeff ___________________
