This typically happens when POST is closing a file and then trying to reopen it right away. It seems to be confusing the disk cache within windows. Perhaps the solution is to boot to DOS and try it.

I get that error quite often. Seems that one of my faster computers has problems running it in a window, while my other computers have no problem (in a window). I think Tree is right about the DOS,
