- Can anyone help us - I think I could solve this if I could touch the computer but I can't. The deal is that when shutting down to DOS the com ports and LPT port do not work from TR Log. Thanks -- Ge

- George and the list - This is a Windows 95 gig. Even when you are "dropped to DOS" (especially in the case where there was NO previous DOS), WIN 95 controls the ports. If this is a newer motherboard

- I have been very successful running TR-Log on a pure WIN95 system. I have 3 of them. They vary in setups and history. The BIOS setup for periphials can be the culprit. Plug & play is not what you wan

- Check that your IRQs are the same in W95 and DOS. I had this problem with my SB16ASP card. WHen I installed W95 (over IBM DOS 6 and W3.1), the PnP looked at my sound card and assigned a different IRQ
