I know there were a bunch of these listed a while back, and then sold... but at that time I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Now I am looking for a 217 filter for my Orion, or perhaps an Inrad fil

The best thing you can do for your Orion is to buy the INRAD 762 filter and put it in place of the 1000hz stock one. That's really all you need and the dsp filters do the rest. And if you are not too

Actually, while the numbers may say the 500 Hz filter with its extra preamp "causes problems," at my QTH it has helped a lot, especially during RTTY and CW contests. Now, I don't have stacked monoban
