Steve I have/had a 255 power supply that came with my Omni C. It had a hum sometimes. I found that the control board that stands vertical was sometimes the problem. It must be grounded to the chasis

Hi Paul Thanks for the info - much appreciated. I only tried it out last night for the first time but the Omni C works very well on 160m - the filtering isn't as good as the usual FT1000, but signals
