Finally got an antenna up (temporarily) so I put the Jupiter on the air for the first time (for me) last night. The hand mike seemed to work better than the 707, and I'm sure it's not setup correctly

Tnx for the info. Further experimentation shows that I can back off the mic gain to 55 or 60 on SSB, but it still wants 75 or so on AM. If I go past +12 dB of H/W mic gain, it begins to sound distort
