The Eagle has a shorter learning curve then the K3. The Eagle is ideal for the older ham whose dexterity is failing, and has trouble remembering how to get to multiple menus, or use too many knobs. T

I like my Omni VII. It has more options and features than the Eagle, and still has a very effective, quiet receiver. Costs more but then it does more. Simple menu, one list, easy to learn. -- K8JHR/A
