I power my Omni VI+ with an Astron RS-35M purchased used at a swapfest for what an RS-20 would cost new. Works great - no problems here. And it's on the floor, not taking up room on the operating tab

Casey, I have used a perfectly fine Astron 35 PS for my Omni 6 for some time, but found a very occasional little glitch in the processor while using it. It was always cured by restarting the Omni 6--

Yes, let me amplify what Chris said: If you don't use a TenTec power supply, BE SURE TO FUSE THE LINE GOING TO THE OMNI!!! TT fuses/protects the power supply, not the rig (wrong choice, in my opinion
