Not wanting to re-engineer something that likely already has been done. Here's my problem! Recently got on the digital modes with a signalinkUSB that works fine with the Argonaut V, all gain controls

Havn't had the manual for the signalinkUSB for some time, but isn't there a jumper inside between two pins? perhaps a switch added to the signallink moving the jumper? in and out. You could also just

If the input impedance is really 47 ohms, you could use a T or an L or simply a single series resistor. Think about 4700 ohm series resistor. With that 47 ohm input Z that would drop the audio 100:1.

How did you connect the SignaLink to your Jupiter? I am using one, and it works fine, and I use the Accessory Jack on the rear panel. I think I remember changing a jumper inside the SignaLink. If you

Thanks to all that suggested a fix for my problem of overdrive. I see I made a typo in my original post. The input impedance is 47K ohm not 47 ohm. I'll make up a box with a resistor/resistors after

Then the simple series resistor goes up to 4.7 megohms. The stray capacitance may give a high boost. Might be better to use two resistors, say 4.7K shunt after 470K series, or 1k shunt after 100K ser
