I am planning to sell my Triton 540 and Century 21 to buy either an Argonaut or a Jupiter. Obviously I prefer the Argo based on price (it would also allow me to sell my 963 ps to put toward it; I alr

The Argo V is a great rig. I've had mine for 2 years and I never get tired of it. But, it runs only 20 W and is not designed to drive an amp. If you want more power than that, go for the Jupiter. 73,

Maybe it's my poor web-surfing skills, but it doesn't look like the 10W-input amps are available in the US. HRO carries the 1.5 kW job, but it requires 85W. Do you know of a source? 73, Ray W2RS ____

Hi Ron, I thought so! Looks like a good solution to me, but I don't work QSK much. My main amp here is a 30L-1 which can be driven either with my Orion II (through an Ameritron ARB-704 interface) or

Kirk, I have never used the Jupiter so I can't comment on it. I have had an Argonaut since last August and it is wonderful. I won't compare it to my Orion II since they are rather different animals,
