- They did make a mobile version, It was basicly a hand mike scaled up to take the large cartridge in the lolipop version. I don't know the product number, and AFAIK they all were amplified. They were

- Since you do not need a license to buy a ham rig in the U.S., and these are I assume far cheaper than a multiband HF rig, they would make good holiday presents for a technician who just was given HF

- Geoff: You're thinking of the D-104, not the 10-D. The 10-D is an SSB-tailored dynamic mike in a chromed bullet style casing. (Which works extremely well on my Paragon, BTW) Perry w8au ______________
