That is certainly true with the FT-857D RX (wideband RX), and after all the TX is 160 thru 440. It's not even in the same ball park, let alone league, with any Ten-Tec RX. However, the criticism is a

All wrong!  I travel with my OMNI ll and AL-1500.  Of course  it does help to have a 40 foot motor home and a BIG diesel generator.  And thank goodness for Direct TV.  No TVI 73 de George, W6GF _____
