To get the CW going, make sure that the Keyer out jack is connected to the Key jack by a jumper. Your key goes to the Keyer Paddle jack. Tip is dit and ring is dah. As for the mic, I use a 705 and th

And the winner is.....The missing plug in jumper between Key and Keyer Out. Looks like the previous owner forgot to include it. I can use a short RCA M-to-M or use the jumper that came out of the VFO

Paul, Do you have the vfo in / out on the back of the rig connected together? If not, your VFO is not connected to the rig and you'll get no output. Also, if your using an external keyer, do you have

Paul: Good info from Gary. Just a coupla more notes. If you plan to use the internal keyer and an external keyer/key at the same time, you can go inside and solder a wire between the Keyer Out & Key
