I wonder if there were changes made during the production runs of Corsair 2? Mine is unmodified, but has a very good tone. (no I'm not deaf, I used to be an active musician) :-) Perry w8au __________

That could be Perry. However I have never heard anything but the raspy buzzsaw square wave oscillator tone from any Corsair 2 I have listened to. Any Corsair 2 I owned, I have always installed a simp

Perry: You must have a special Corsair 2. I thought they all had buzzsawtooth sidetones. The original Corsair was easy to modify. They "Spot tone" was a true sine wave. All you do is exchange it for
